The Project

This E-Learning Heroes Challenge 304 is all about accessibility in e-learning. Specifically, we were challenged “to design a short demo, quiz, or interaction to help course designers learn more about creating accessible courses.

The challenge offers topic ideas and a list of possible resources. So after exploring for a bit, I landed on video accessibility. I’ve worked as an audio description writer and I’ve received a lot of accessibility training for maintaining a website. I thought I’d focus on what may be new information to some people.

I took the information from the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative page Making Audio and Video Media Accessible. I took the four types of accessibility and gave basic information on who needs what type and examples of how it works.
